“Adam Kadmon: When The Heart Implodes” is a 6 track EP detailing the struggles I faced after the suicide of someone close to me. Suicide is a very sad but very real situation for many people around the world. The EP talks about the mixture of emotions I felt… grief, anger, guilt. It’s primarily a Synthpop album. Synthpop, (also known as electropop, or technopop), is a genre of popular music that first became prominent in the 1980s, Featuring the synthesizer as the dominant musical instrument. I’ve only used guitars in one of the songs, preferring the coldness and emptiness of technology; an accurate description of how it feels to survive a loved one’s suicide. The situation was devastating but it made me realize how important it is to reach out.
